So, I went to Columbus on Wednesday to be there for Abbey, and see little Annie after she was born. Well, I got up there around 1:20pm and to my surprise Annie wasn't born yet. It was cool though because I got to hang out and keep her and Ross company while she was laboring. Well, I was starved so since Annie was being stubborn I decided to go to the cafeteria and eat. I scarfed down my food and headed back up to the room. When I left she was only dilated to six, and when I returned 45 minutes later she was feeling the urge to push. I felt so bad because they kept giving her more medicine for the pain and it wasn't working. She really wanted to push but the nurses kept telling her to hold it until her doctor got there. I could identify because that is what happened to me when Victoria was born. Finally the doctor arrived and so Abbey started to push and three pushes later Annie May Edward entered our world. It all happened so fast. I didn't expect to be able to stay in the room while she had her, but I am so glad I did. It was so amazing being on the other end of things. I cried I think, more than anyone. She is absolutely perfect and gorgeous. She was a whole 5 lbs. 15 oz. Such a teeny weeny jelly beany. Since Abbey is the closest thing I have to a sister, I feel like such a proud aunt. After she was born I cried and hugged Abbey and thanked her for letting me be a part of the whole thing.
I can't wait to see Abbey and her TWO little ones soon.
Congratulations my love, and Happy Birthday Annie!!!

Family Fun @ Kings Island
So, today Kings Island opened for the summer season. Well, Chad and I figured we might as well go and take the kids for some fun seeing as it was our day off, and since it was overcast I figured it wouldn't be that busy. So we set off around 11:30 and arrived around 12:20, not bad timing. Unfortunately alot of people must have had the same idea as us because when we got up to the entrance there was a veeeeerrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy long line for the season pass processing center. This did not make us very happy especially due to the fact that our two year old doesn't get the whole "wait in line" thing. Apparently alot of people purchased their passes online like us and when you do that you have to go through the processing center to get your card with your picture on it. Anyway, around 30minutes into our wait one of the workers announced that you can enter the park one time before you have to get your pass processed, so it wasn't a hard decision for us to dash out of line and head on in.
After entering the park we headed straight for KiddyLand(Nick Universe). Our first ride was the Scooby Doo haunted Castle. It is where you ride in mini Mystery Machines and use laser guns to shoot the ghosts. I personally was excited since there are not to many rides we can all ride together. Victoria is too little to ride about 80% of them. Payton was quite apprehensive at first. He was intimidated by the spookiness of the place. But once we got on the ride both of the kids really enjoyed it. Next we went on the Lazytown Helicopters. Slow moving, but and enjoyable ride. Oh yeah and I didn't mention it had started sprinkling at this point, so at least we got out of the rain. Once again Victoria could participate in this.
By this point Payton was getting braver, so Chad and he decided to go on Plankton's Plunge. This is basically a mini Drop Zone. I was so proud he wasn't afraid at all. He loved it. So we took the next step and while Chad wrangled Victoria, Payton and I stood in line for the Rugrats Runaway Reptar ride. Hopefully you are all familiar with Kings Island and will understand when I describe this as a mine Face Off. Basically your legs hang from the coaster while it sails around the track. It is somewhat intimidating looking, especially from a five year olds point of view. But he was psyched. I have to say it looked like it was pretty tame, but once we got on it I was like " OMG this is fun". Payton agreed.
It was my turn to wrangle Victoria while Chad took Payton on what used to be called the Beastie in my day, but is now called the Fairly Odd Coaster. The line was a bit longer for this so Victoria and I set off to ride the Dora train. Well, we never quite made it on that ride due to the fact that my daughter spotted Diego. Now I'm sure most kids are afraid of these characters in real life, but not my girl. She became the "Diego Stalker". I swear I could not tear her away from him. She kept hugging him and giving him high fives. I am sure at some point the poor guy was like get this kid away from me, but he was very nice to her. After ripping her away from Diego kicking and screaming I focused her attention onto the Diego Safari ride. It's basically little cars that look like Safari cars that move in a slow circle. She loved it all the same. I also took her on Swipers Sweepers. I am not sure how to describe this ride but let's just say she was cracking up.
We made our way back over to the Fairly Odd coaster in hopes that we could see Payton and Chad. We made it just in time to see them get on. I guess they decided they might as well do it big, cause they sat in the first seat. Chad said Payton acted like he was going to poop his pants at first, but he ended up loving it. We rode a couple other little rides, but it started getting cold and Victoria's missed nap was starting to show, so we decided to take off. I purchased the kids some Ice cream cones before we left. And while Payton waited to finish his before he passed out in the car, Victoria passed out with her Ice cream still in hand. It must have been good. All-in-all it was a fun day, One we will be repeating again in the near future.

Abbey&Me!!
Well, since my husband has been home a lot lately I have not been able to have my daily chats with my best friend. So I am completely going through withdrawal, and it got me to thinking about my amazing friend and our precious friendship. Abbey and I met 13 years ago when I moved to Milton-Union middle school. I can still remember her bouncing into chorus class, her wild hair, and loud mouth. I wasn't sure quite what to make of her. She was very friendly, and made me feel comfortable in a new environment. I would be lying if I were to say we were inseparable from day one. Our friendship has been more of a metamorphosis. I can still remember when her grandma passed away. It really took a toll on her. That was probably one of our first bonding talks.
High school came and through the years we grew closer. I have been there for every foolish boy that broke her heart. The summer before our junior year we had Kings Island season passes. We used to load up Big Red(A big red pick-up truck) pack ourselves a couple of snacks and hit the road with Steppenwolf's "Magic Carpet Ride" blasting through the speakers. Those were the days! After my mom and dad split, I lived with my dad and he worked night shift. Well, I hated being alone at night so I knew Abbey's parents never locked their doors(they lived in the country). I would go over there and crawl into her bed spend the night. I can't tell you how many times I slept there and Abbey wasn't even home. Her parents got very used to waking up with me there.Lol!
Honestly it would take to long to go through all the good times!!
Unfortunately, and my only regret is that we lost contact for about 3years. A very important 3years that contained some of our most important life events. We missed each others wedding's, and first babies birth. We were very fortunate to come back into contact with one another when little Ross was 3months old, and I was approximately 4weeks away from giving birth to my second child. It was like no time had passed. There were no awkward silences, or animosity. That's how you know a true friendship. I know no matter what happens in life she will be there for me,and me for her. I feel so blessed to know her and be in her life. I adore little Ross, and my kids adore her. I thank the good lord everyday for giving me such a blessing. Hope you enjoyed some of my favorite pics above.

1200 Thread Count
So, for a while now my best friend(Abbey, the most frugal women in the world)has been telling me I am totally missing out by buying cheap sheets. I am talking 25o thread count. So after contemplation on spending a large sum of money on something no one really sees, I talked my husband and myself into ordering 1200 thread count sheets. I really didn't think they would be all that different, but if they held up for more than a year I figured it would be worth the money. So, they came in the mail yesterday, I washed them and I had to admit they felt so soft, thick, and sturdy. You could tell just by feeling them they were quality. I put them on our bed and I must say Abbey was right. If you are settling for anything less you are just cheating yourself and your wallet. They are amazing, and I can honestly say I will never again purchase cheap sets. The best part was the incredible price I got. 79.99 for sheets regularly priced at $450 dollars. Here's the link...http://www.overstock.com. Do yourself a favor and get some. It's the best deal I have found as of yet.!!
