Amber&Chad plus 2

Okay, so I must gush about my new favorite show, Jon and Kate plus 8. I don't know why but I am absolutely fascinated with these peoples lives. I have so much admiration for Kate Gossilen. She is such a real mom, a good mom. She manages to deal with eight children everyday, and being taped while doing so. And she is real, she doesn't put on a facade or show for the public. What you see is what you get. She is a positive role model. You really should check it out. It is inspirational.http://www.sixgosselins.com

First Haircut!!

So today I took my baby girl to get her first haircut. Honestly she was starting to look like a fraggle, but I was afraid to cut any off. However, it went really well. She got a little impatient towards the end but she is only two so I guess that is to be expected. She did keep her curls which made me really happy. On a side note Payton finally acted like a big boy and didn't cause a scene while getting his hair cut. I was so focused on Victoria that before I knew it he was already done. He made me proud. WTG Pate!! Enjoy the pics of the whole process below.

Just thought I should show off how adorable my muncykins are.

Me in a nutshell..Literally!

So, Lots of changes going on in my world right now. There were a lot of things medically I had been putting off and I suddenly decided to get them taken care of. Task one was finding a family doctor, my kids have a pediatrician but I can't tell you the last time I had a doctor to call my own. I am the type of person that if I am sick I just go to urgent care and get it taken care of. Unfortunately the time had come to find someone to call my own. I literally plopped the phone book open and started calling around, the first five offices I called I got answering machines. Since I don't like to communicate with automated voices I kept calling around until I reached actual human intelligence. Boy did I really hit the jackpot. The doctor I got in to see is really amazing. Not only did they have a kid friendly office(complete with a great playroom with walls painted with chalkboard paint. Those of you with kids know how important this is!) But the nursing staff even watched my crazy children for an hour while I gave the doc my life's story. How many doctors do you know who would just spend and hour with you. I have to say this was my first.

Well, the blood work they did and physical all came back perfect. Unfortunately the problems I have been suffering were diagnosed as depression and adult ADD. So, basically I am freaking nuts! Lol. Anyway, I am now taking two medications a day. I feel so old. On a positive note I can tell I am starting to feel like the old Amber again. Hurray for drugs!!
