So, I went to Columbus on Wednesday to be there for Abbey, and see little Annie after she was born. Well, I got up there around 1:20pm and to my surprise Annie wasn't born yet. It was cool though because I got to hang out and keep her and Ross company while she was laboring. Well, I was starved so since Annie was being stubborn I decided to go to the cafeteria and eat. I scarfed down my food and headed back up to the room. When I left she was only dilated to six, and when I returned 45 minutes later she was feeling the urge to push. I felt so bad because they kept giving her more medicine for the pain and it wasn't working. She really wanted to push but the nurses kept telling her to hold it until her doctor got there. I could identify because that is what happened to me when Victoria was born. Finally the doctor arrived and so Abbey started to push and three pushes later Annie May Edward entered our world. It all happened so fast. I didn't expect to be able to stay in the room while she had her, but I am so glad I did. It was so amazing being on the other end of things. I cried I think, more than anyone. She is absolutely perfect and gorgeous. She was a whole 5 lbs. 15 oz. Such a teeny weeny jelly beany. Since Abbey is the closest thing I have to a sister, I feel like such a proud aunt. After she was born I cried and hugged Abbey and thanked her for letting me be a part of the whole thing.
I can't wait to see Abbey and her TWO little ones soon.
Congratulations my love, and Happy Birthday Annie!!!
